The men and women of Cornucopia Community Corner dba CoCo Corner believe, “It takes a village to raise a child.”  We work with other organizations to provide youth with the tools and resources needed to become self-sufficient.

The primary objectives and purposes of this corporation shall be working with other community-based organizations to provide programs and services that prevent high-risk behavior. Services provided will be educational guidance, health resources, economic mentoring and social development that lead to self-reliance.

The goal of Cornucopia is to facilitate self-sufficiency by working with cross sector stakeholders in the community to improve the health and wellbeing (wellness) of the family. Participants receive specialized case management and coaching that links medical, psychological, social services, the school environment, childcare, and development services. We work with the appropriate services and referral systems that are in place to meet the comprehensive needs of the family.

We create a family-oriented environment with strong emphasis on goal setting, community involvement and personal development. We wish to plant in every participant’s heart the notion that they have goodness within themselves and have something positive to contribute to society.
